All competitors and accompanist must arrive 15 min prior to performance time.

Plectrum classes students can pick from the suggested selections or perform own choice of comparable level books. Plectrum guitar music for suggested selections is available at Rysons United Studios of Music, 5 Court St, St. Catharines, ON, (905) 682-6832

Plectrum One Year and Two Year division classes are for students with one and two years’ experience playing guitar who are not following the standard plectrum grade levels and wish to perform pop music.

Classical Solo students perform one entry form their recommended RCM grade level.  Note Grade 6 and above are eligible to be selected for the OMFA Provincial competition but they will be required to play a second additional contrasting piece at the OMFA competition.  Please consult the OMFA guidelines for selection eligibility.

Classical Concert Class students from grade 6 and above are required to perform two selections of contrasting pieces that meet the OMFA provincial eligibility requirements. Please consult the OMFA guidelines for selection eligibility.

Classical Duet students is an open class to all ages and performers can perform their own choice.

Music sheets must be provided to the adjudicator prior to performance with book open to selected pages.  Please note: no photocopies, only original music score sheets.

Classical Guitar Selections are required to be performed by memory.
